Woman, son shot dead
NOWSHERA: Two armed men barged into a house in the NIzampur area and shot dead a mother and her 11-month-old baby in front of her daughter on Friday.
The assailants made a hasty escape while firing shots into the air. Cops at NIzampur Police Station registered a case.
The survivor of the attack, Umaila (14), told the police that she along with her mother Kishwara Bibi and her 11-month-old brother Muawiyah were at home when the accused, identified as Mohammad Raj and Jawad, hailing from the Gajjukhel area, entered their residence and allegedly carried out the brutal assault. The complainant, recounting the incident to the police at the Qazi Hussain Ahmed Medical Complex, alleged that the assailants had previously murdered her father Ayaz Bacha.
