Her funeral prayer was offered at Jinnah Bagh, Sultanpura. A senior journalist quoting the victim’s relative said as she reached home from office late at night some unknown persons knocked at the door saying they were her neighbours and wanted to hand over something to her.
As she opened the door, the suspected robbers tried to snatch her purse. The suspects also sprinkled chilli powder into her eyes and fled the scene. The condition of Sadia turned critical and she was rushed to hospital where she died.
