Serial winners

I would like to congratulate Australia on winning the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Australia began their 2023 World Cup campaign with two losses, but ended it as champions. 

Australia has now become the only team to win the world cup six times. Australian Captain Pat Cummins saved his best till last with brave and decisive captaincy combined with ever improving personal performances. 

The decision to bowl first against an Indian team that had dominated opponents by batting first proved to be a stroke of genius.

One team started off the tournament with two losses and the other went into the final with ten straight wins. In the end, it took one day to change the narrative and put arguably the best white-ball side on the planet in second position.
