Nine injured as speeding bus overturns

Women among nine people were injured as a speeding passenger bus overturned on Mai Kolachi bypass on Monday, causing traffic from MT Khan Road to Boat Basin move at a snail’s pace for hours.
According to police, the bus was moving at a high speed on the road leading to Boat Basin from the American consulate and it tipped over after its tie rod broke. As a result, nine people were wounded. The casualties were shifted to a private hospital for medical treatment. Following the accident, the flow of traffic on the bypass was disrupted until the bus was moved to the side.
