The CDA has reportedly installed numerous paintings under a bridge on the Srinagar Highway as part of a beautification campaign. A bridge is not the right place to display paintings or beautify the city. They will distract drivers and can cause accidents and should be removed immediately.
The display of anything other than road signs and signals for the guidance of drivers is a road safety hazard that should not be allowed on our highways. Those who plan and implement such proposals should be sent to attend a course in highway safety. There is already no shortage of accidents on our roads.
