In view of the upcoming general elections, major political parties are busy in making alliances irrespective of party ideologies. This race is undoubtedly all about power and one cannot expect things to get better for the people as a result of this exercise.
Our political history shows that our main parties pursue power to further personal interests not national interests. Pakistan needs a sincere and fairly elected leadership, not one elected by the will of the establishment.
