Campuses in 10 districts to remain closed tomorrow
LAHORE:Following court’s order, the Punjab government has issued directive to close the educational institutions on Saturday (tomorrow).
The Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department’s (PSHD) notification vis-à-vis smog restrictions is applicable in Lahore and Gujranwala divisions comprising 10 districts, including Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib and Kasur in Lahore Division and Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narwal, Hafizabad and Mandi Bahauddin in Gujranwala Division.
In these 10 districts, all markets, shopping malls, cinemas, gyms and shops will remain closed till 3pm tomorrow (Saturday). The markets, shopping malls and gyms will be allowed to reopen after 3pm. All private and public schools, colleges and universities shall remain closed on November 18 under restrictive movement as per anti-smog measures.
