LAHORE
The 5th signature clinic of a family planning project, funded by the German government,
was inaugurated by Wolfgang Moellers, Director-KfW Office Pakistan, in Sambrial, Sialkot district.
According to a press release, in-charge of Health Division at KfW Office Pakistan, Dr. Masuma Zaidi, Dr. Haroon Ibrahim, Dr. Syed Azizur Rab and renowned medical practitioner Dr. Tasneem Iqbal Cheema were also present. Moellers expressed German government’s support for the project, which has brought about a positive change surrounding the previously considered taboo concept of family planning through such projects.
It contributed to increasing availability, access and awareness of family planning and mother and child health services.
