PTBA elects new executive body
KARACHI: The Pakistan Tax Bar Association (PTBA) elected a new executive committee to lead the organization for the term 2023-2025, with Anwar Kashif Mumtaz as the President, Rehan Siddique as the General Secretary, Syed Irfan Haider Shah as the Joint Secretary, Imran Ahmad Khan as the Information Secretary, and Wasim Uddin Hashmi as the Treasurer.
A statement said the PTBA also elected several senior vice presidents and vice presidents from different regions to support the organization in its mission of advancing the interests of tax practitioners, promoting tax education, and contributing to the development of tax policy in Pakistan.
The newly elected Executive Committee is committed to fostering professional development within the field of taxation, providing a platform for networking, and advocating for tax reform in Pakistan.
