Villagers allege property seizure
CHITRAL: Residents of Ghazhal Lutkoh in Chitral district have appealed to the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the inspector general of police to reclaim their property, allegedly seized by several influential people.
During a press conference, Muhammad Hussain, Ghulam Sarwar, Sultan Khan, Ziaullah, Ali Dad Khan, Sanaullah, Wazir Khan, Ikramullah, Ilyas Khan, and Hayat Khan alleged that Taimur Khisro, the former accountant general of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and his brother Hidayat Khisro, used their influence, including Chitral Police and the deputy inspector general (DIG) of Chitral, to unlawfully seize their ancestral lands.
The residents claimed that Hidayat Khisro, with the help of Afghan refugees, forcibly demolished two rooms and took belongings with them, but later their police complaint was ignored.
