Unity in MQM-P vital for urban Sindh’s survival: Siddiqui
The convener of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, on Thursday underlined the critical role of unity within the party in ensuring the survival of urban Sindh.
He expressed this sentiment during his visit to Liaquatabad Town, where he congratulated the party workers on organising a public gathering. He emphasised that the workers constituted the most valuable asset of the MQM-Pakistan. He highlighted that unity among the ranks of the MQM-P was essential for the well-being of the citizens of Sindh.
He also referenced the events of 2018 when “non-local” individuals were imposed on Karachi, stating that this time, the party would not allow the imposition of non-locals on the city. Dr Siddiqui further asserted that political engineering had reached its limits, and he encouraged the party’s workers to prepare to contribute to the governance of the entire country from Karachi.
