Maulana Samiul Haq Shaheed Conference: JUIS chief vows to complete father’s mission

NOWSHERA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami (JUIS) head Maulana Hamidul Haq Haqqani said on Thursday that Maulana Samiul Haq Shaheed was a staunch supporter of establishing an Islamic system in Pakistan and freeing Islamic countries from external powers.

Speaking at the Shaheed Maulana Samiul Haq Conference here at Akora Khattak, he said that he would leave no stone unturned to complete the mission of his late father.Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq, Liaqat Baloch, Islamic Ideology Council Chairman Dr Qibla Ayaz, Abdullah Gul, Maulana Yousaf Shah and others also spoke on the occasion.

Maulana Hamidul Haq Haqqani, who is also the chairman of the Defence of Pakistan Council, said Maulana Samiul Haq was posthumously given the title of “Shaheed Namus-e-Risalat” (Martyr for the Sanctity of Prophethood).

He said that his Shaheed father had contributed in the fields of religious knowledge, education, politics and Jihad.“We would continue our struggle for the true Islamic system in the country, ideological and geographical defence of Pakistan, and war against oppression as per the vision of Maulana Samiul Haq Shaheed,” Maulana Hamidul Haq pledged.

He also shed light on the issue of Palestine and called for unity and raising awareness about Israel’s brutal bombings on civilians.Graduates of Darul Uloom-e-Haqqania and students were holding Palestinian flags to express solidarity with the people of Palestine.

JI chief Sirajul Haq said that Maulana Samiul Haq Shaheed was a strong voice for the oppressed Muslims of the world, who bravely sacrificed his life for Islam and Pakistan.Administrator of Darul Uloom-e-Haqqania and vice-president of Wifaqul Madaris Maulana Anwarul Haq, Liaqat Baloch, Islamic Ideology Council Chairman Dr Qibla Ayaz, Abdullah Gul, Maulana Yousaf Shah and others while speaking on the occasion paid glowing tributes to Maulana Samiul Haq Shaheed for his services for Islam and Muslim Ummah.Later, a resolution was also passed unanimously.
