Woman among 3 killed in DI Khan firing
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Three persons, including a woman and a girl, child were killed and four others sustained injuries when rivals opened indiscriminate fire on their opponents over old enmity near Ghaibajat Wanda Abu on Dera-Bannu road on Tuesday.
Muhammad Bilal Qureshi, 29, told the officials of the Yarak Police Station that he along with his relatives were going home from Dera in two cars. He said that when they reached near Ghaibajat Wanda Abu situated on Dera-Bannu road their rivals identified as Sabz Ali, Khaliqdada, Sarwar, Amir Abbas, Nadir, Shaukat and others, who were in waiting opened indiscriminate fire on them.
As a result, three persons named Salahuddin, 32, Samreen Bibi, 29, and Haya Noor, 3, sustained multiple bullet injuries and killed on the spot while Nasreen Bibi, 44, Rafia Bibi, 27, Hira Noor, 2, and one year old Muhammad Yousaf were injured. The complainant said that they had an old enmity with the accused.
Soon after the incident, the Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured to the Civil hospital in Dera Ismail Khan.
