Alleged anomalies in Hangu hospital protested

HANGU: The doctors and paramedical staff on Monday staged a protest and boycotted the duty against the alleged corruption and mismanagement by the medical superintendent of District Headquarters Shaheed Farid Khan Hospital, Hangu.

The protesting doctors and paramedics led by Dr Luqman and Dr Matitullah chanted slogans against the MS and demanded his transfer from the district.

They alleged that the MS was involved in corrupt practices and had adopted an unbecoming attitude with staff after his anomalies’ were highlighted. The protesters asked the government and secretary health to order an impartial probe into the matter and take action against the MS.
