The difference
Can four sixes be hit on four consecutive balls? That is unimaginable for the current Pakistan T-20 squad. But it is very much possible when a team plays for its country.
What Carlos Brathwaite did to England is nothing new. The same was done to India by our cricket legend, Javed Miandad, in Sharjah. But both Miandad and Brathwaite were playing for their respective countries. That makes the difference.

The double-win by both the men and women cricket teams of West Indies in the World T20 final is awe inspiring. They built their teams with the minimum available budget compared to all other cricket teams – including Pakistan.
We should look into the affairs of our cricket team. The expenses incurred on the PCB chairman and an army of directors/seniors, who are paid beyond our resources without any meaningful audit, should be scrutinised. Either we should ban cricket or the PCB budget should be conditional on the team’s performance.
