LAHORE

Mostly sunny, dry and relatively warm weather is expected in the p[provincial metropolis on Sunday (today).

The Westerly wave is affecting extreme northern parts of the country and likely to move northeast-ward during next 12 to 18 hours. Widespread rain-thundershower occurred in  upper KP, upper Punjab,Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Multan, Sahiwal, D.G.Khan, Quetta, Sukkur divisions and  upper FATA.

In the next 24 hours, mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, however  rain-thunderstorm associated with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Malakand division, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Parts of the country where rained were Pattan 35 mm, Kalam 15, Balakot 14, Chitral 13, Mirkhani 11, Drosh, Malamjabba 09, Kakul 07, Parachinar, Lower Dir 05, Dir 04, Saidu Sharif 02. Gilgit Baltistan: Astore 33, Chillas 18, Gupis 14, Bunji 11, Skardu 10, Gilgit 02. Kashmir: Garhi dupatta 33, Muzaffarabad 19, Rawlakot 17, Kotli 04. Punjab: Murree 16, Jhang, Sargodha 10, Noorpurthal 08, Multan 07.
