Farmers convention today

FAISALABAD: A farmers’ convention will be held at Library Hall, Ayub Agriculture Research Institute, Jhang Road, at 11am on March 24.
Giving details, Agriculture EDO Abdul Hameed said the participants would discuss follow-up action of the Punjab Agriculture Conference 2016. All stakeholders of Kisan package, including representatives of farmers’ organisations, pesticides and fertilisers companies, agro-based industries, livestock pharmacies, milk producers, fruit and vegetable traders, have been invited to have a broad-based consultative exercise regarding important points/decisions taken in the Punjab Agriculture Conference for growth in overall agriculture sector. He said agriculture scientists, experts of agro industry, livestock, forest, irrigation and fisheries and researchers would also attend the convention.
