Govt urged to provide complete security to Dr Amir Liaquat

LONDON: The Rabita Committee of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement vehemently condemned the threats hurled at prominent anchorperson and religious scholar Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain by the Taliban.
In a statement issued from London on Tuesday, the Rabita Committee said Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain had been endeavouring to promote the religious harmony and tolerance, and threats from the Taliban to the scholar were worrisome. The Rabita Committee demanded of the government to provide complete security to Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain. The Rabita Committee on the occasion expressed complete solidarity and sympathy with Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain.
