Islamabad: If the Pakistan Metrological Department is to be believed, then there is no threat of rain playing spoilsport in today's Pakistan Day parade.

Muhammad Afzal of the Pakistan Meteorological Department said those planning to watch Pakistan Day parade and other events at the Parade Avenue, Islamabad, they might rest assured that there would be no rains all through the day.

"The rain won't fall in the city on March 23. It'll be a dry, sunny day," he told this correspondent emphatically.

The weatherman said mainly dry weather was expected in most parts of the country.

He, however, said rain and thunderstorm was expected at isolated places in Quetta, Makran and Zhob divisions of Balochistan during the day.
