Visitors throng UAF flowers exhibition

FAISALABAD: A large number of visitors thronged the flowers exhibition of the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, on Thursday.
The exhibition arranged by the Institute of Horticulture Sciences, UAF, has flowers of more than 100 varieties. The lush green ground was adorned with floral arrangements and fragrance, as enthusiastic nature lovers arrived to view.
UAF VC Prof Iqrar said the exhibition was meant to promote floriculture from which we can earn much foreign exchange. He said the nature had blessed the people of our country with different beauties and talents. He added that there was need to explore these talents.
Different institutes and organisations, including NIAB, NIBGE, Parks and Horticulture Agency, Ayub Agriculture Research Institute, Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, Punjab University, GC University, Faisalabad, and others participated. The event will conclude on March 18, 2016.
