CM calls for effective check & balance on entry points
PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has directed the authorities concerned to expedite work on the Peshawar Safe City Project to implement the anti-terrorist laws and effective check and balance on entry points should also be ensured to protect people and institutions. He was presiding over a meeting on law and order situation at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, said an official handout. Special Assistant to Chief Minister Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani, Provincial Ministers Inayatullah Khan, Shah Farman, Ali Ameen Gandapur, Chief Secretary Amjad Ali Khan, Inspector General Police Nasir Khan Durrani, Secretary Home, commissioner Peshawar, deputy commissioner and capital city police officer attended the meeting. The border management system, Safe City Project, repatriation of Frontier Constabulary and other important issues came under discussion at the meeting.
