Commercial capital

While the Supreme Court is rightly pushing the CDA to remove encroachments and illegal use of residential properties in the federal capital, it is important that the court keeps an eye on what the CDA has so far done to comply with its orders.

During a recent visit through Sectors F-11 and G-10, I saw that many streets have got their illegal barriers and guards posted back. It gives the impression that the streets are off limits to the general public. The SC is also requested to direct the CDA to launch a similar campaign in sectors such as E-11 which are under different housing societies but are witnessing a high-level of commercial activities on residential premises.
