The protesters belonging to Kaka Sahib and City feeders chanted slogans against the Gepco authorities for suspending power supply without informing them through notice. They said that they also faced water shortage problem due to disconnection of power supply to Municipal Committee water turbines. They demanded immediate restoration of power supply. Meanwhile, thieves stole 200KV transformer from Khawaspur Road, which caused power shutdown in different areas. When contacted, the Gepco SE was not available, however, the XEN said that electricity was suspended from the grid station and expressed hope that the power supply would be restored soon.
