Motorcyclist killed

CHAKWAL: A motorcyclist was killed in an accident near Mureed village on Wednesday.

Faisal Anwar along with his brother’s wife was heading to Bhagwal village on a motorcycle when a speeding truck hit them on the Chakwal-Talagang Road, leaving Faisal dead on the spot and the women injured. The woman was shifted to DHQ hospital Chakwal in a critical condition.

WOOD THIEVES HELD: The Neela police Wednesday arrested four wood thieves near the Neela interchange.

FWO in-charge Sabeeha told the police that accused Alam Khan, Arif Khan, Hazrat Khan and Nazar Khan, all of village Chak Beli, stole Rs 50,000 wood. The police arrested the accused and recovered wood from them.
