Five target killers arrested

ATTOCK: Police claimed to have arrested five target killers involved in various incidents of killing of police officials and other citizens here on Saturday. Addressing a press conference, District Police Officer (DPO) Israr Ahmed Abbasi said that all the target killers were activists of a banned organization having links in Afghanistan and South Waziristan. He said that all the arrested target killers including Inam Rahim resident of Chungi No 7 Attock, Usman Jalil, resident of Khunda Attock, Shams-ur-Rehman, resident of Dhok Fateh Attock, Dr Arif Usmani, resident of Peoples Colony and Maulana Muhammad Kosar also from People’s Colony Attock. They had killed eight persons including Constable Wasiq and Bilal Ahmed, IB officer Qamar Anees, a retired army soldier Sajjad Haider, security guard Aslam, Amjad Hussain alias Anji Papa, Alamdar Hussain and Latif Aslam.
