NAVTTC opens job placement centre
Islamabad
Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Balighur Rehman inaugurated ‘Job Placement Centre and Career Counselling Desk’ at National Vocational and Technical Training Commission headquarters here on Wednesday.
NAVTTC Executive Director Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema briefed the minister about the centre and said the data of around 0.5 million skilled youth was available at the centre.
He said the trained youth would not have to wait and look for jobs here and there as the industrialists and employers would have access to them at the click of a button and after identifying their skills, they would offer them jobs. The NAVTTC executive director said the centre would also ensure the career counselling of the skilled youth with Salma Jabeen as the counselling officer.
