Five of a family among six abducted in Pakpattan incidents

PAKPATTAN: Six people, including five members of a family, were abducted in two incidents here.

In the first incident, Jamil and three others came to the house of Rehman at Chak Kalyana as guests and allegedly gave drug-mixed sweets to the family. When the family members fell unconscious after eating drug-mixed sweets, the accused abducted Rehman’s married daughter and her four children. In the second incident, Aasia and Nafees knocked the door of Zubair at Bonga Hayat. When his 12-year-old daughter opened the door, Yaseen and 11 others allegedly abducted her.

In the third incident, five people, including Mumtaz, came to a hospital and allegedly tried to abduct Muhammad Ameer’s daughter and his granddaughter. The accused fled when the woman raised hue and cry. Ameer’s daughter had come to the hospital for treatment of her sick daughter. The daughter of Muhammad Ameer had filed a petition in a court for divorce from her husband. Police have registered separate cases and started investigations.
