Sean "Diddy" Combs was originally set to be released from prison over prostitution-related charges on May 8, 2028.

However, the date has been changed multiple times.

Initially, it was pushed to June 4, 2028. Then, again, changed to April 25, 2028.

However, it did not stop there. A third change was made, and the date was moved up to April 15, 2028.

Now, for the fourth time, according to federal prison records, the Bad Boy Records founder's release date has been changed.

He is now set for release on February 23, 2028.

Despite the reduction in prison time, Diddy's legal team's efforts to appeal on their client's behalf are far from over.

According to reports, the lawyers argue the infamous 'freak-offs', which dominated the rapper's case, were consensual performances instead of what was described in press reports.

And they were shot for viewing privately rather than for prostitution.

But prosecutors pushed back against what they called a rosy picture portrayed by the defence.

On the contrary, they argued these 'freak-offs' include drugs, coercion, and intimidation.

In this regard, the prosecutors presented explosive testimony from the rapper's former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.

"I feared for my career. I feared for my family. Just embarrassing, all of it. It's horrible and disgusting. No one should do that to anyone," she said during the trial.

Diddy is in jail in a federal prison in New Jersey.
