Palace shares about Trooping the Colour as Prince Harry, Meghan snubbed

The royal family has shared a post about Trooping the Colour amid reports Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have been snubbed yet again from the event.

The palace shared a post on Instagram and revealed, “With over 1000 soldiers, 200 horses and 300 musicians on parade to mark the official birthday of The King, Trooping the Colour returns on Saturday.”

The Trooping of the Colour marks the official birthday of the British Sovereign for over 260 years.

As per details, over 1400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians come together each June in a great display of military precision, horsemanship and fanfare to mark the Sovereign's official birthday.

The streets are lined with crowds waving flags as the parade moves from Buckingham Palace and down The Mall to Horse Guard's Parade, alongside Members of the Royal Family on horseback and in carriages.

The display closes with an RAF fly-past, watched by Members of the Royal Family from Buckingham Palace balcony.

Meanwhile, there are reports Meghan and Harry have not been invited to the royal event.

Since quitting their royal roles in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan have not made it onto the palace balcony for the event’s finale.

The royal couple did attend Trooping in 2022 as part of the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, but did not appear on the balcony.
