King Charles III and Queen Camilla left for Derby Day at Epsom Downs Racecourse after attending the wedding of Peter Phillips, Princess Anne's son.
Charles became the first reigning monarch to attend Derby Day since 2019 , the final year Queen Elizabeth II was present at the meeting
The King and his wife serve as joint Patrons of The Jockey Club, the organisation responsible for operating the Surrey racecourse.
The royal visit fell on the same day as Peter Phillips's wedding to Harriet Sperling, a private ceremony at All Saints Church, Kemble, in Cirencester.
