Olivia Munn is leaning on her boyfriend John Mulaney as she recovers from her surgery following breast cancer diagnosis.
The actress, 43, had revealed last year in a candid Instagram post that she was diagnosed with breast canncer and gave a sweet shoutout to Mulaney, 41, and their two-year-old son Malcolm for giving her strength to cope in these circumstances.
An insider cited by Us Weekly revealed that Mulaney has been “a huge pillar of strength for Olivia throughout her health scare,” adding that Malcolm gave Munn the “courage and strength to keep fighting and overcome this.”
The couple started dating since early 2021 after the comedian’s split from ex-wife Anna Marie Tendler.
The pair had welcomed their son two months after he finalised his divorce in January 2022.
As for sharing her cancer journey publicly, the source shared that Munn “knows this is an opportunity to educate people.”
Another source added that sharing her story is “important”to her for “raising awareness with the hopes more women will get themselves tested.”
When Munn shared her post about the double masectomy on Wednesday, Mulaney penned a sweet comment for his lady.
“Thank you for fighting so hard to be here for us. Malc and I adore you. [heart emoji]”
