Cyber theft
April 09, 2020
During these days of lockdown, the State Bank of Pakistan has advised people to use digital payment systems. This has increased the chance of on-line frauds. Online hackers will certainly take advantage of it. By taking advantage of this situation criminals are sending messages to get personal information like passwords, credit/debit card numbers etc.
While seeking these information, fraudsters use name of different agencies like NAB, FIA and even SBP/banks. Therefore, SBP/banks have advised people not to share any information to avoid fraud. People should be very careful about disclosing such information and inform authorities.
