APNS condoles death of MD Mass Advertising
KARACHI: Sarmad Ali, President, Umer Mujib Shami, Secretary General, APNS, on behalf of the office bearers and members of the society have expressed profound grief over the sad demise of Mr. Akbar Ali, Managing Director of Mass Advertising (Pvt.) Ltd., Karachi. He was a veteran advertising professional and served the industry for about 50 years.
He was a member of the Executive Committee of Pakistan Advertising Association (PAA) in 1991-92 and Chairman Zone ‘A’ in 1992-93, 1993-94 and was unanimously elected as Chairman, PAA in 1994.
He was also the President of Public Relations Society of Pakistan (PRSP), Member, Executive Committee of Medical Aid Foundation (MAF) and Chairman of PPCCI’s Standing Committee on Press and Print Media.
The APNS office-bearers expressed their condolence and prayed that Almighty Allah may rest the departed soul in peace and give patience to bereaved colleagues and family to bear the irreparable loss.
Namaz-e-Janaza will be performed on Friday, December 02, 2016 after Namaz-e-Jumah at Masjid-e-Bilal, DHA Phase 7, Karachi.
