Cultural festival held at Iqra University

Iqra University Campus here on Thursday celebrated the diversity of Pakistani cultural heritage showcased through folk music, artifacts, traditional Pakistani food and clothes.
It was attended by a large number of diplomats, prominent figures who thoroughly enjoyed and highly applauded the display of Pakistani traditional exhibit. The festival highlighted an array of dynamic performances and display of art performed across the country. The main objective of the event was to display brilliant work of the students in the fashion department at Iqra University.
Prominent educationist Hunaid Lakhani welcomed the guests. He said that Pakistan has been blessed with rich culture heritage and festival. The diplomats took keen interest and admired the displayed art work. They, in their remarks, stated that Pakistan is peace-loving country, land of hospitability and three main civilizations. People to people contacts and linkages in higher education sector could be greatly helpful in strengthening bilateral relationship.
