We, the flat owners of the Haji Ismail Mariwala building in Lyari, are being charged under the K-Electric theft code ‘ASSD’ since April 2014 against fake/bogus/mysterious undertakings. The majority of flat owners have, however, cleared these unjustified dues of more than Rs50 million; these dues were actually outstanding against the builders and owners of the building. We have lodged more than 28 complaints with KE for the installation of separate, dedicated meters at our flats but so far all our efforts have remained unattended.
We once again request the KE and Nepra to solve this lingering problem and install dedicated meters at our flats and stop over-billing us because our consumption is minimal. Is there anyone who can listen to our complaints and remove our genuine grievances?
