I visited the passport office in Garden Town, Lahore, recently. After getting done with the application and its submission, I realised that a good two hours had lapsed – including the travel time to the passport office, which is 45 minutes away from my residence. As I was about to leave, I saw a TCS booth in the office premises apparently for the delivery of passports at home. I subscribed to the service at a very nominal charge – and I am happy I did.
After a few days, I received my passport right at my doorstep. The courier took my thumb impression on the biometric machine for verification of my identity. I am truly delighted with the kind of timely service and convenience I was provided. It was a great convenience to have the passport delivered at home instead of me having to take a day off from work to collect it.
