BKU attack facilitator’s wife arrested
NOWSHERA: The security forces on Thursday arrested in Akora Khattak the wife of an alleged facilitator of the attackers on the Bacha Khan University when she was trying to flee to Punjab province.
The sources said the security forces arrested one Waheedullah in Badrashi area four days back. He reportedly told the security forces that his wife had helped him in supplying weapons to the terrorists from tribal areas.
The security forces launched search for her and she was nabbed in Akora Khattak when she was trying to enter Punjab province along with her four-year old daughter. The forces claimed that after the arrest of the woman, all the facilitators of the terrorists had been held.
Both the husband and wife were shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.The sources said the forces had recovered documents from Waheedullah, which could prove his involvement in terrorist activities in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Both the facilitators would be produced before the military court, the sources said, adding, their case may be forwarded to the military court within three weeks.
