To celebrate the accomplishments of the students and to encourage them for future performance, Beaconhouse Margalla Campus (Boys Branch) held its annual prize distribution ceremony here on Tuesday. Ms Ayesha Shabbir (School Group Head SGO-III) was the chief guest on the occasion.

Ayesha Shabbir was truly impressed with the prize distribution arrangements and high standards set by the deserving recipients of the award ceremony. Asif Majeed Butt (principal BMI), Riffat Arif (HM BMI-A levels), Farah Rahat (HM BMI-G) also graced the occasion.

Naila Sohail, headmistress (BMI-B) shared the students’ achievements, annual report for curricular and co-curricular activities and events, followed by a slide show. She emphasized the importance of these activities to facilitate the students to become independent thinkers, analyze and solve their problems, come up with ideas and pursue them to completion where possible. She also stressed the importance of sports to teach life skills to a child by focusing the participation of every child in one sports or another.

The school choir presented songs under the supervision of Babar Niazi, renowned singer and composer. The high achievers were awarded certificates and trophies. Their parents took time out to encourage their ward in their success. An English Play was also staged by the senior students. It was a remarkable play which unveils the fear that accompanies death and how one may find redemption. Urdu literary society has also presented a play ‘Be Adbiyan’ which highlighted the behaviour of our new generation and ignorance of our values.  Overall the programme was well organized and highly appreciated by the guests.
