Education partnership agreement ceremonies

The signatures' signing ceremonies of the partnership agreements with the owners of private schools selected under 15th phase of expansion of education voucher scheme under the project of free education by Punjab Education Foundation in collaboration with the private partners were held in Lahore and Multan.

The ceremony held at Children Library Complex Lahore was participated by the school owners from Vehari, Bahawalnagar, Jhang and Khushab districts while school owners of Dera Ghazi Khan attended the ceremony, which was held at regional office Multan. Representatives of Punjab Education Foundation while congratulating the school owners said the foundation was making all-out efforts under the guidance of Chairman PEF Engr Qamar-ul-Islam Raja for the promotion of education, which had provided an opportunity to poor children to acquire education.

Meanwhile, Director Education Voucher Scheme Samina Nawaz has asked the school owners to send the nominations of needy children between the age of six to 16 years under out of school, dropout and child labour categories maximum by January 15 so that their education could be arranged through partner schools.

In the meantime, quality assurance test of the schools affiliated with education voucher scheme of Punjab Education Foundation was held on Wednesday in 36 districts of the province. About 19,822 students of 387 partner schools took part in the test.
