As many as 18 women and two minors, hailing from different countries, involved in immoral activities will be extradited to their native countries following the orders of the interior minister.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has ordered deportation of foreigners illegally living in Pakistan and involved in illegal activities, sources in the Interior Ministry told ‘The News’ on Wednesday.
The Interior Ministry has issued directives to the relevant departments, including Islamabad Police and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), to submit a report about foreigners living in Pakistan without legal documents, sources said.
Over 120 people were detained during a crackdown on anti-social elements last Saturday from different parts of the federal capital, including Industrial Area, sectors F-6, F-7, G-4, G-5, F-10, F-11 and other posh sectors of Islamabad. During the onslaught, police not only busted gangs but also apprehended 58, including foreign prostitutes belonging to different countries, including Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, China, Uzbekistan and Nigeria, sources said.
Police registered cases against 20 women under Section 14 of the Foreigners Act, including five Chinese — Znangy, his wife Ye Danting and their minor son Zhang Ziqi, Anti, wife of Zhu, and Aina, daughter of Yang Fen — and Abbassova, daughter of Sabir (Russia), Mayahubova Dilbar, wife of Shralpova (Uzbekistan), Olaceru Aykiu, wife of Aykiu (Nigeria), Amiat Akhtar, wife of Akhtar (Ghana), nine women hailing from Azerbaijan, including Allya, wife of Waqar Butt, Arada Wahid, wife of Wahid, Zehra alias Zarifa, wife of Mohammad Ali, Tameela Aslaan, wife of Hameed, Almeera, daughter of Shahid Mehmood, Naila Shahid, daughter of Shahid Mehmood, Rabab, daughter of Aslam, Allena Provina, wife of Mubashar, and Ibrahim Raza, son of Arsalan, and two belonging to Kyrgyzstan, including Misri Khanum alias Fatima and Zaydyz, daughter of Saal Peil (Sagal Pell).
Sources said that most of the women, having no documented identity, told wrong names to police. However, they would be identified with their real names after they submit their bail applications in the court of law. Six accused have been identified with their real names, and they were deported to their native lands immediately. However, their documents have been handed over to the FIA for further processing of their cases.
