Montessori certification programme concludes

Roots Academy of Professional and Intellectual Development RAPID organised a two-week Montessori Certification Programme at its state of the art training facility at H-8 campus. This open enrolment programme was attended by 35 participants from all walks of life. 

The course participants included beginner teachers, experienced teachers, house wives and corporate sector employees. The programme was being led by six noted Montessori Master trainers. The course dates were from 30th May 2016 – 11th June 2016.

This workshop involved cutting-edge theory, innovative content and concepts for presentation and discussion for in depth teacher understanding and subsequent application. The workshop was committed to provide a stable foundation in the early years of a child’s development with its exclusively crafted and superior quality Montessori learning material. The course encompasses the entire Montessori Pedagogy including Absorbent mind, prepared environment, role of Montessori Directress , Normalization, three Period Lesson , introduction to sensitive periods, Stages of Development, Deviation& Normality, Exercises of Practical Life, Sensorial  exercises, Language exercises , Math exercises& Culture exercises . The sessions on the first day included Introduction to Montessori Method of Education, Life history & work of Dr. Maria Montessori, Presentation of Exercises of Practical Learning, Elementary Group, Personal Care & Grace & Courtesy.
