PESHAWAR: The educationists have called upon the students to continue their studies during summer vacation so that they could become successful in future.
“Some students take the summer vocation for granted that affect their education adversely. The students should continue their studies to serve their country,” Hafiz Farooq Ali, principal of University Public School, said.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the three-day prize distribution ceremony here on Saturday, he said that three-month vocation was a blessing for the students to prepare for examination.
On the occasion, students were awarded trophies and certificates for standing first, second and third in annual examination of 2015-16.
Dr Nauman, a former head of the Department of Education and Research University of Peshawar, was chief guest. “The intelligent students are source of inspiration for their classmates who must try their level best to excel in their studies,” Hafiz Farooq Ali said.
He said that education instilled professionalism, dynamism and hard work in students.
The students presented tableaus, skits, national songs, naat and national anthem and received applause.
Luqman Hakim, a student delivered a speech entitled “Knowledge is Power,” and recounted the achievements and inventions made by the Muslim scientists and urged his fellow students to focus on their studies to be able to become successful in future.
