LAHORE
The officials of EDO Education office Wednesday closed 391 private schools of the provincial metropolis for violating summer vacation notification.
Tariq Rafiq, who is looking after the post of EDO Education, Lahore told The News that the teams visited 1,518 private schools in the provincial metropolis and action would be taken against 24 schools for not obeying the government’s instructions and refusing to close down campuses.
