Political scenario improving after govt-opposition agreement: Fazl
QUETTA: JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman on Friday said the political scenario in the country was improving after the government and opposition agreement to form a 12-member committee to draft agreed terms of reference (ToRs) for an inquiry into Panama leaks.
He was talking to the media at the residence of Maulana Abdul Wasay, opposition and parliamentary leader of the JUI-F in the Balochistan Assembly. Maulana Faiz Muhammad, Haji Nawaz Kakar, Ainul Shamas, Molvi Serwar Musa Khel and others were present on the occasion.
Fazl said the prime minister had presented himself for accountability. He said his political status was not ambiguous and the JUI-F was a key coalition partner of the federal government. He said every political party had the right to organise rallies and problems were always solved through dialogue. He said he had good relations with the PPP. Talking on Panama leaks, he said those who were demanding resignation from the PM were themselves owners of offshore companies. He said corruption cases must be probed since the creation of Pakistan.
