Shopkeeper sustains burns

NANKANA SAHIB: A shopkeeper Wednesday sustained severe burns at Kotla Kahlon.

Reportedly, Sharafat, 25, was sewing clothes when a fire erupted at his shop due to a short circuit and engulfed him.  He suffered burns and was shifted to Allied Hospital Faisalabad.

TWO INJURED: Two people were severely injured in a road accident near Shahkot on Wednesday.

Reportedly, Usman and Muddasar were riding a motorcycle when it slipped, leaving them injured critically.

NANKANA SAHIB: A seminar was held on the eve of International Firefighters’ Day at Rescue-1122 office, Nankana, on Wednesday.

Addressing the moot, District Emergency Officer Muhammad Akram Panwar said fire fighters are real heroes who put their life at stake for others.

Media coordinator Ali Akbar, safety in-charge Muhammad Shahid, students and a large number of masses also attended the seminar. Later, an awareness walk was also held.
