The much-anticipated event of the year, Dream Home Expo 2016, concluded at the Pak-China Friendship Centre here on Monday with a commitment to carry on bridging the gap between the market and the consumers and make it an annual feature to facilitate people.

The third day witnessed the same response from public as was seen on first and second days of the expo.

The jewel of the crown was the lucky draw conducted by the Jang Media Group in which the five winners were given gold keys.

The expo attracted thousands of people during the three days and the response from public was tremendous. The visitors were interested in buying property not only in Pakistan but also in foreign countries.

“It is a great initiative by the Jang Media Group. It gave a platform to the estate and property dealers and associates so that public could benefit from them and compare the market rates and facilities provided by them. It provided a healthy competition to the property consultants and developers,” said Mohammad Akhtar, a retired solicitor of the Government of Pakistan, while talking to this scribe. He said “I would suggest to the government and private firms to start low-cost housing schemes for public and give it on higher purchase like it is done in the UK and other foreign countries. We are not able to afford such expensive plots and properties in posh areas of the city. What we need is a house that we can easily purchase from our salary and I am here to explore my options."

Jang Media Group's Sarmad Ali, while talking to ‘The News,’ said "After conducting successful expos at Karachi and Lahore, we are conducting the expo in Islamabad and the response here is equally exhilarating. We have planned to take this expo to Peshawar and Faisalabad also. Estate and property sector in Pakistan is a booming market and all queries of consumers are answered under a roof, in fact their financial needs are also looked after here. Riba-free banking loans are being offered here to facilitate the consumers."

He said that the Jang Media Group has always tried to bridge the gap between consumer and market. "This time also, we have become highly successful in fulfilling the demands of public in bringing the market under one roof for their benefit. Estate and property are our biggest advertisers and make it a point to gather them annually on a platform to facilitate the consumers," he added.

Jang Media Group Senior GM Amjad Ali said, "we have been holding the Education Expo since 2008 and now we are moving forward to real estate developers. According to a recent survey, Pakistani investors are investing in Pakistan now instead of foreign countries. The majority of Pakistanis are striving for their own home and we are facilitating them by providing them an opportunity. Not only real estate developers but allied industries have also displayed their services to facilitate people in improving their lifestyles," he said.

Erum Shahzad, CEO of the Q and A Marketing, said that they are offering houses in Antalya which is a fast growing business opportunity in Turkey. “Annually, 20 million tourists visit this city. We are giving people an option for living in a highly posh area of Turkey, which can be explored as per their choice,” the CEO added.

The chief guest of the concluding ceremony was Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary. He appreciated the efforts of the Jang Media Group in bringing the facilities of real estate under one roof.
