ISLAMABAD: Member Pakistan Muslim League-N Makhdoom Javed Hashmi Wednesday presented his resignation from the National Assembly membership to Parliamentary Leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan which has not yet been accepted, Geo News reported.

According to sources, Javed Hashmi in his resignation stated that he held a certain viewpoint and for this he was ready to quit his National Assembly membership if the party sees any problem with that.

However, Chaudhry Nisar did not send it to the party leadership. He said the matter will be politely resolved within the party.

this is welcome decision.he is a veteran politician who remained behind the bar during mushraf regime and kept PML N alive.when party came to power it did not give him the honor he deserved.and important portfolios were presented to them who remained silent during mushraf rule or had strong connection.

Javed Hashmi is one of the few wise political brains in the country. I am sure at this stage of his political career, he will make the right decision in the best interest of Pakistan.
