Two more Lyari gangsters held at Lahore airport

LAHORE: In an action taken on Allama Iqbal International Airport Wednesday pinioned two Lyari gangwar lynchpins just before they were to take off for abroad to evade arrest, Geo News.


Sources in intelligence agencies said that Owais Tipu and Amin were allegedly involved in the armed gangwars in Karachi’s restive Lyari.

“We received word from reliable informers that some gangsters, who fled the ongoing targeted operation in Karachi, have traveled to Lahore and from here they will try to leave for the overseas”, said the sources.


They added that following this tip-off the surveillance at the Lahore airport was put on high alert – a measure, which paid.


A day earlier, Shiraz Comrade, another notorious gangster from Lyari was arrested from Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore.


Sources also added that both these gangsters were also Comrade's cronies.
