Bomb leaves civilian, soldier dead in Karachi

KARACHI: A soldier and a civilian lost their lives in a bomb blast targeting a Pakistan Army truck here in the Korangi No. 5 area on Thursday night.

 

10 soldiers were also among the nineteen people injured as a result of the blast the responsibility of which has been claimed by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

 

The attack took place when military troops were returning after performing election duties. The powerful blast completely destroyed the army truck.

 

The injured, some of whom are said to be in a critical condition, have been rushed to Jinnah Hospital, Sindh Government Hospital and Civil Hospital.
