CTD arrests two terrorists from Swabi

SWABI: The Counter-Terrorist Department (CTD) Mardan have arrested two terrorists and recovered suicide jackets from them, officials said here on Friday.
It was learnt that the raid was conducted by the CTD officials on a tip off.The two persons were arrested from the Swabi-Buner road, an area where the boundaries of Razaar and Swabi tehsils meet.
The arrested terrorists were riding a motorcycle when they were stopped by the CTD officers.The officials said it was a great success because the terrorists were arrested without
a clash. They said the two were shifted to Mardan forthwith.
The first information report was registered against them at the CTD Police Station in Mardan.The officials said the two men were being questioned. There was no information about their likely targets but the suicide jackets recovered from them were clearly meant for conducting terrorist attacks.
The officials said the two detained men belong to Peshawar. They were identified as Sar Muhammad, a resident of Takhtabad, and Matiullah, from Mira Kachori.
